Callowesse Narrow Metal Mesh Child and Pet Safety Gate 62-69cm x H76cm - Ash Grey

The mesh panel is way better than the bars on our old gate — I can actually see through it from the kitchen. It fits our skinny 64cm doorway snugly and the one-hand latch is easy even with a baby on my hip.

The pressure fit meant no drilling into our rental's doorframe, which was my main worry. The mesh panel is actually see-through enough that I don't feel like I'm walling off the kitchen. Opens one-handed with a toddler on my hip, which is the real test.

Installing this in our narrow hallway was a breeze thanks to the pressure fit mechanism—no tools needed. The mesh is sturdy but soft enough that our curious toddler can't climb it, and the ash grey actually looks nice.
